It hangs in the water reservoir of the pot. When the reservoir is full, you will see the red bar of the indicator sitting right at the top. Glance at the indicator once a week and your plants will stay looking good for longer. When the red bar starts to drop, that is the sign the water reservoir is nearly empty. Very simple! Move the decorative stones lying on the frame slightly aside near the water level indicator. Lift the indicator out of the frame. Now you can top up the water reservoir through the indicator's hole. Then put the indicator back in the frame and spread the decorative stones neatly over the frame again. Is the red bar still not right at the top? Every houseplant needs more water in summer than in winter. With Wickplants you no longer have to keep track of that. The only difference is that the water reservoir empties a little faster in summer than in winter! A large houseplant also drinks more than a houseplant of around 50 cm tall. So the reading on the water level indicator is all you need to follow. Worrying about how much water a plant needs is a thing of the past.
