The Yucca is a real sun worshipper that needs very little water. This tough outdoor plant likes bright, sunny light and thrives in dry conditions. In winter, though, the Yucca rostrata is sensitive to too much moisture, which can lead to root rot. So make sure the pot drains well and shield the plant from excess water through the wet months. That stops moisture building up and keeps your Yucca healthy and sturdy!
