The Schefflera tree isn't hard to look after. It does like a steady temperature with a minimum of 15 degrees. In summer you can easily stand this houseplant outdoors, as long as it's in a bright spot. The Schefflera tree prefers a bright spot, but not in direct sunlight all day. Do make sure the Schefflera isn't standing in a draughty corner, because that leaves the houseplant open to mealybugs and other pests. If that happens, hose the plant down with water. That washes off all the unwanted guests.

The Schefflera tree is easy to care for and doesn't use much water either. Slightly moist soil is best for this houseplant, although in winter the soil can dry out a little between waterings.
